Opportunity (Part-Time): Cyber Threat Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) – EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) Partner Nation (PN)

Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is looking for a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence SME to support a team in executing a five-day workshop on cyber threat intelligence through instruction, facilitation, and human-centered exercises, in support of a funded U.S. Government contract, in EUCOM AOR, working with a valued PN.

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagement in a partner nation.

Level of Effort: The anticipated support includes pre-engagement activities estimated at 50 hours from July to September, an engagement period of 40 hours, and post-engagement activities of 10 hours.

Availability: Immediate opening – the engagement is in September 2024 (with likely follow-on opportunities in similar engagements)

Objective:
  • Execute a five-day workshop on cyber threat intelligence in September 2024.
  • Provide instruction, facilitation, and human-centered exercises.

Desired Outcomes:
  • Gain an understanding of cyber threat intelligence dynamics and processes.
  • Establish key relationships with relevant agencies and interagency.
  • Enhance the partner nation's capabilities in cyber threat intelligence.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • 20+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence.
  • Experience at the Combatant Command level or higher (GS/GG-15/O-6 or higher).
  • Experience analyzing threat information from multiple sources and disciplines across the Intelligence Community.
  • Ability to synthesize and contextualize intelligence information to draw insights and implications.
  • Knowledge of cyber intelligence/information collection capabilities and repositories.
  • Awareness of best strategies, programs, tools, and security procedures for sharing threat intelligence.
  • Knowledge of intelligence disciplines, frameworks, processes, and related systems.
  • Experience in intelligence support to planning, execution, and assessment.
  • Experience developing cyber indicators and handling the entire lifecycle of cyber threat/warning assessments.
  • Knowledge of NATO cyber and intelligence standards and doctrine.
  • Knowledge of EU legislation impacting cyber operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines relevant to threat and intel sharing.
  • U.S. Citizen with Secret Clearance a must.
