Team Leader – Chief Threats, Warnings, and Indications – Project in Libya

START: Late Summer 2025

LOCATION: Fusion Cell Collocated with Prime Contractor’s Tactical Operations Center in Benghazi, Libya. 

Bottom Line Up Front: Looking for an experienced military/intelligence professional to lead a team of Libyan nationals in developing threats, warnings, and indications understanding of the Libyan environment for a commercial project. Looking for native English-speaking (U.S. or UK citizen preferred, but key requirement is English native speaker) with a strong background in analyzing potential developing or imminent threats and generating warnings and indications for security professionals who can then take timely action to mitigate risk. Familiarity with the Libya threat environment is a must, as is the experience of working with local national teammates who will help generate the real-time threat assessments.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Native English speaker (preferred U.S./UK citizen but native English speaker is actual requirement) with three (3) years of professional experience in either intelligence, special operations, and/or commercial risk analysis utilizing Publicly Available Information research related to North Africa; must have at least one (1) year of experience operating in Libya.
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in International Relations); desired: Master’s or commensurate professional experience (3–5 years) focused on Libya and/or the broader north African region.
  • Strong experience working with local nationals.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills, able to produce finalized written products and deliverables that are ready to send to clients.
  • Experience with open geospatial apps is a plus (e.g. Google Earth, Arc GIS, etc.).
  • High-level proficiency (to allow speed when producing deliverables) using Microsoft Office tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management to be able to leverage a team of analysts and build reports on time while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Works well with teams or independently, with minimal oversight, to provide thorough and completed products. Feels comfortable working with local nationals and managing teams of local national analysts.
