Opportunity (Part-Time): Digital Forensics Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Hoplite Group is seeking a Digital Forensics SME to support a U.S. Government institutional capacity building effort focused on developing a comprehensive Digital Forensics capacity with a partner nation.
Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. Government team, supporting a partner nation.

Objective:
To assist a strategic partner nation in developing an organizational structure and operational framework for a Digital Forensics capability. The SME will advise on doctrine development, operational roles and responsibilities, and strategic decisions related to the division of labor for digital forensic operations.

Hoplite Group is seeking a Digital Forensics SME to support a U.S. Government institutional capacity building effort focused on developing a comprehensive Digital Forensics capacity with a partner nation.
Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. Government team, supporting a partner nation.
Level of Effort:
- Pre-Engagement: Approximately 20 hours/month.
- Engagement: Next in-person engagement scheduled for 21–25 July 2025, with a follow-on engagement in September (Approximately 80–100 hours/month during engagement months).
- Post-Engagement: Support as needed.
Objective:
To assist a strategic partner nation in developing an organizational structure and operational framework for a Digital Forensics capability. The SME will advise on doctrine development, operational roles and responsibilities, and strategic decisions related to the division of labor for digital forensic operations.
SME Qualifications:
- Expertise in developing and establishing a comprehensive digital forensics capability, including but not limited to the creation of a plan of action and milestones for the expansion or enhancement of such capabilities.
- Expertise in digital forensics across various domains, such as computer forensics, network forensics, mobile device forensics, and database forensics.
- Expert understanding of the role of digital forensics within the broader context of defensive cybersecurity strategies and the ability to effectively articulate this relationship.
- Experience working with Partner Nations and/or Allies.
- Experience in human-centered design and facilitation to build Partner Nation capacity through tailored, effective advising, education, and collaborative engagement.
- U.S. DoD Secret Clearance required.
