Opportunity (Full-Time): Arabic Linguist & Cultural Advisors (10 positions)

Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking 10 experienced Arabic-speaking Cultural Advisors, with U.S. Secret Clearance, to support a U.S. Air Force mission at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Contractor will advise US military leadership on host nation culture and partnerships and provide administrative, translation, interpretation, and transcription services for U.S. Forces, including all permanently or temporarily assigned organizations and tenant units. These services support U.S. military leadership or their authorized representatives by fostering cooperation between U.S. and host nation personnel to advance U.S. military interests and mission. This includes matters related to U.S. military operations, deployed personnel, security of assets and resources, medical care, H.N. military and government policy and procedures, and base defense.

Position Type: Full-Time / Contingent upon award

Availability: Hoplite Group anticipates a start date of September 2026.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain clearance eligibility throughout the period of performance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both Modern Standard Arabic and English with a minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) rating of 3+, Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), or equivalent.
  • Valid U.S. Passport, valid U.S. Driver's License, and valid International Driver's License (or the ability to obtain one), with the ability to obtain all required country visas and travel documentation.
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience serving as an Arabic linguist, interpreter, translator, cultural advisor, liaison, or in a comparable role supporting the U.S. Government or Department of Defense.
  • 2+ years of experience providing accurate oral interpretation, written translation, and transcription while advising military leadership on regional culture, customs, laws, regulations, and professional practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Host Nation military personnel, government officials, and civilian organizations in support of U.S. military operations and strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to support military-to-military engagements, key leader engagements, official meetings, distinguished visitor visits, conferences, and partnership activities while serving as the primary liaison between U.S. and Host Nation personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Host Nation military and government organizations across multiple functional areas in support of installation operations, including logistics, contracting, engineering, public affairs, medical, force support, immigration, customs, and other mission support functions.
  • Experience preparing official correspondence, reports, trackers, translations, presentations, and other administrative products supporting operational mission requirements.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment while exercising sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity, including responding to emergent mission requirements outside normal duty hours when required.
  • Ability to deploy overseas and successfully operate within a multinational military environment.
